Aerbio produces protein and other fermentation-based ingredients using a groundbreaking process that turns CO₂ and green hydrogen (H₂) into high-value products — without using sugar. Through our patented gas fermentation platform, (R)evolve™, we create a microbial protein called Proton™, which contains more than 70% protein and features a complete amino acid profile.
Proton™ can be used in both food and animal feed applications and is designed to replace conventional protein sources such as soy and animal-derived ingredients — but with up to 90% lower CO₂ emissions. Since production is independent of land, weather, and seasons, it can run continuously, anywhere in the world, and scale rapidly.
We work with industry partners and research institutions to validate and scale our technology. With an operational pilot plant already in place, we are now moving toward large-scale commercial production in the coming years.
