First, AquaGreen’s pyrolysis treatment supports environmental protection. It removes harmful substances like microplastics, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and PFAS, which prevents groundwater pollution, avoiding environmental harm and public health risks. Additionally, the produced biochar can be used for wastewater filtration and soil remediation, eliminating even more pollutants.
Secondly, the technology is engineered to combat the climate crisis. It prevents waste from releasing greenhouse gases, captures atmospheric CO₂ and stores it in biochar for millions of years.
