SemperCycle
SemperCycle is developing a technology for recycling plastic waste into raw materials for new plastic production.
The technology is based on a high-temperature process which converts plastic waste, which is not recycled today, into methanol which can be used for production of new plastic products.
The technology makes it possible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions significantly and at the same time reduce the need for fossil resources in production of new plastic materials.
SemperCycle has built a demonstration plant at Risø for further development and scaling of the technology.
