This research group is dedicated to improving the synergy between electric mobility and prosumer solutions, like solar panels or batteries. They develop advanced technology like grid-tied power converters, to integrate electric vehicles and other energy assets. Their expertise extends to various types of vehicles and the infrastructure needed for charging. They utilize modern control theory to ensure that these systems operate optimally and securely.
Their research includes grid-integrated EV charging, vehicle-to-grid integration, energy management, sustainable transportation, and much more. From this, industries can obtain cost savings, revenue generation, energy optimization and sustainability.
